CraveShift has commenced formal laboratory testing to introduce true synbiotic benefits into our bars. Our products already contain the prebiotic fibre inulin, and we are now validating the addition of a probiotic strain (Bacillus coagulans, supported by Certificate of Analysis) to create a synbiotic combination—meaning prebiotics and probiotics working together to support gut health. This approach is genuinely innovative for snack bars in Australia, and we’re excited to be among the first local brands working towards verified synbiotic functionality in a convenient, everyday health bar. As part of this process, we’re conducting independent lab testing to confirm probiotic viability and synbiotic performance throughout shelf life before making any official claims.
